Today, we took a trip to Cox Arboretum. When we first got there, we had to stay under a roof because it was raining. After about thirty minutes of waiting for the rain to stop, we decided to just go out in the rain so we could still enjoy the day. We walked around the park, observing ponds and trees. We went to a garden that you could eat plants and herbs that were growing. We went to a watch-tower that was almost fifty feet high and just stayed up there enjoying nature. After we came down from the tower, me and a couple friends took a mile long hike through the woods. I took various pictures of the scenery and most of them turned out very nice. The hike was a lot of fun, and so was walking around a nature park with a couple of my friends. Throughout most of the day, it was raining. Thankfully, we had a good amount of tree cover while hiking through the forest, but when I was done I was still completely soaked. Despite getting dripping wet, I still had such a fun day and I'm looking forward to the next trips we will be taking during this STEMmersion.
